Conservation Technician – Lincoln County SWCD
The Lincoln Soil and Water Conservation District in Ivanhoe, MN is seeking a self-motivated individual to work in an ever-changing conservation environment. Applicants must possess proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software and be able to work in an office and field setting. Experience in Arc GIS, GPS, Survey/Design, tree/native grass selection, Easement experience, Soil Health knowledge and Watershed Planning is preferred. Must have the ability to lift over 50 pounds and be able to perform in all weather conditions, terrain situations and public settings. A bachelor’s or a minimum two-year degree is required. Environmental studies, Natural Resources, Water Resources, Wildlife Management, Biology, GIS/GPS, Ag Business, Civil Engineering or similar field of study is preferred. Prior work experience would be advantageous. Starting Wage range for this position is $25.00- $30.00/hour DOE and qualifications.
